Two New Wines To Be Released Over Memorial Day Weekend

La Vigna Estate Winery is happy to announce two new releases of our wine.

2012 la Vigan Rosato2012 Carnevale

Rosato di Cabernet Franc

This crisp, light-bodied rosato is the perfect wine for sipping on a hot summer day. Dry, fruity and slightly mango hued (Provence Wine Council Color Scale), this wine is the product of hand harvested Cabernet Franc crushed and soaked 18 hours before press. Fermented in stainless steel tanks. The crisp, cool flavors of a well-balanced rosato pair well with grilled, steamed or poached fish, lobster, and risotto. Bottled with minimal intervention, or manipulation to capture the “somewhereness” of La Vigna.

Cabernet Blend

The declaration of Proprietary Red signals a wine crafted exclusively from Bordeaux grape varieties and is considered the very best of La Vigna. Elegant and refined, this beautiful vintage unfolds on the palate in incremental layers of flavors. Aged 26 months in American/French Oak barrels. Bottled with minimal intervention, or manipulation to capture the ”somewhereness” of La Vigna.
